This series has gone into more that I expected it to be when I read Kiss of Deception.

Truthfully, I thought it was just a love triangle story and a little drama between kingdoms was just an added twist to spice up the romance. But it turned out to be more than that.

What I thought to look at as just the typical feud between kingdoms and rebellions in the works, was truly a discovery of how rightfully do these soon-to-be rulers are worthy of their respective thrones. Are they just pompous royals set to carry out the traditional ways of ruling, or will they be those who actually care about their subjects? 

Right in the middle of book two, The Heart of Betrayal, I was skeptical to continue on with this series. I felt it had that middle-book-syndrome (you know where the book tends to stretch out for a third book to happen), but after finishing it, I saw the relevance of Lia's character development in Venda. And it goes to show how well that was plotted with our final book.

I had yet again, waited a while to start off with these book. I always do that with series finales. I'm just not ready to say goodbye! LOL. Anyway, it was a well written book, much like the first two, only this one had moved a lot faster than the previous ones. And I always love finales that give me closure. The Beauty of Darkness did just that.

Packed with the right amount of action, plot twists, and romance, The Remnant Chronicles is sure to be one series you'll love in your lifetime.

Loved the characters, loved how beautifully everything wrapped up in the end (as the final book in the trilogy) 
I did feel it was a tad bit slow in the beginning. Not much going on in the first few hundred pages. Other than that though I really did enjoy it.

I was unable to read this book as I lost my phone and was unable to retrieve the book file that was sent to me. This title has since been archived.
