This is a well-written and exciting romance set in historical Seattle and the surrounding countryside. I loved the character of Sofi and how she was such a powerful mind for her era, pushing boundaries of what women were thought capable of doing. The romantic tale is heartfelt, a little rushed overall, but in general that didn't detract from the story.
I liked the family drama, the hidden secrets, and the interplay of faith. Lindsay is a skilled writer and the story is fast-paced and engaging. Christian fiction readers who enjoy adventure and romance will like this tale.

This book kept my attention. I didn't want to put down when I had to. Sofi's Bridge is about Sofi who is trying to protect her sister, Trina (she is suffering from delayed shock over their father's drowning) from being put in a sanatorium. Sofi, Trina, her servant, and her new gardener, Neil (an handsome foreigner from Scotland who is doctor) to protect them. Can Sofi trust Neil to help her sister? Can the Neil keep hiding from Sofi that he is really a doctor, wanted for murder, and he is running from the British police?

This was my first time to read Christine Lindsay. I look forward to reading her other books. I hope Christine write about Trina. I would love to read her story.

Thanks to Netgalley for letting me read Sofi's Bridge in exchange for my honest review. :)
