This was an enjoyable read and quick read. I thought it was a great read. When I picked it up again, I could not put it down. This is also my fifth Christian non-fiction book. I am glad I read it. It talked about the Ten Commandments and explains how non-believers can get to good Christian living if they just believe. I thought it was thought-provoking. I thought it was inspirational read. It was a must read for Christians and non-Christians. Overall, a great read.

John Dickson is an incredible communicator. I first got to know him attending a seminar at Baker Books in Grand Rapids. He has a gift for taking concepts and explaining them for non-experts. He does a good job with that in this book on the 10 Commandments. He takes the time to show that these commands really do forge the foundation of an incredible Judeo-Christian ethic and are not to be treated as dusty old has-beens of an earlier age. I highly recommend this book as well as the other one he wrote in this series on the Bible...combined they are a great resource for looking the Bible in a different way...in a way that communicates to the doubters among our friends, family and community.
