Nance uses an analogy of a hyperactive puppy to discuss how our minds can wander, and how to be more present and kind to yourself. The story is accompanied by adorable illustrations of a peppy little puppy. I've also seen some really cute activities on Pinterest to accompany this book to teach children about mindfulness and self-regulation as well.
