Another great novella collection. All based on the railroads. Each story will take you back in time.

This book was a collection of 9 enjoyable novellas all focused on some aspect of the Transcontinental railroad in the late 1800's. From sight-seeing excursions to transports toward new lives, from orphan trains to circus trains loved developed due to lives thrown together in unusual situations. Each of these novellas was written by a Christian author and contained well written spiritual content within a novella. Also each felt like a complete story with interesting, unique characters with all the strengths and faults of everyday life. Nice book to pick up and enjoy a single story when needing a break and something lighter to read.

Wouldn't it be exciting to see the very first railroad for your very self? Romance is in the air and riding on the rails in these nine sweet novellas. Throw in a lot of adventure, dreams chased, and love, love, love, and you have the makings of a wonderful evening of reading.
I am giving this novella collection a rating of 5 stars and highly recommend it to readers who enjoy Christian romance.

I am not familiar with all of the authors in this collection, because of that I found some new authors to read which is always a good thing. The theme woven through each of the stories was overcoming with God. A great effort by all of these authors.

Wonderfully well written collection of historical Christian novels created by some of my favourite authors.

I kinda had a mostly love but a tiny bit of hate relationship with theses stories. On one had I loved most of them, on the other I almost felt like this book was never ending. Don't get me wrong it wasn't that long of a book, I'm not sure why I felt that way. each story was set around a train but each was different. some were even mostly on train. once I got in the middle of each stories I had a hard time putting it down. but between stories I was able to set it down for a bit. but thats what I love about novella collections!

All aboard for a memorable historical journey on this railway to love. Nine talented authors contribute unique novellas to complete this collection. Some are favorites and others new to me. I enjoyed each story, which included outlaws, amnesia, orphans, and much more. The characters and settings and details are well developed, and the railway connection ties the book together. The contents are much more than romances, which is not my usual genre to read. I like the dramatic unfolding of a well-told tale, especially historical. I received this copy from Netgalley. A good combination of authors and stories.
I always enjoy reading about the old west.
