I really enjoyed Fool Me Once by Katee Robert. I'm not necessarily a huge fan of enemies to lovers, but Aubry and Quinn were definitely fun to watch. Fool Me Once is the second book in the Foolproof Love series, but is a standalone read.

Katee is a new author to me i have no read her before, but it was a pretty good read the reason I gave 3 stars it at parts I felt so rushed and mixed up other than that it has potential.

Aubry and I are a lot alike. I have severe anxiety and panic attacks and I really don't like people. I absolutely adored her. The banter between Aubry and Quinn was on point, and I loved seeing them get together. They're sweet and sexy and hot and I loved every minute of the book.

I honestly don't know how I feel about this book. I was so torn from love to hate and back again.

What do you get when you cross a crabby gamer with crippling anxiety and a charming cowboy dodging his wealthy parents' matchmaking efforts? A sexy, sizzling read with complex characters and even more complex emotions.
In Fool Me Once, Aubry Kaiser and Quinn Baldwyn have a contentious relationship built on snarky banter and mutual dislike. This suits them just fine until they find themselves in need of shields at social events. She wants to go to the big gaming conference she's been personally invited to, where she can demo the newest version of her favorite game without succumbing to anxiety attacks. He wants to support his little sister on her big day without having socialites thrown at him by his wealthy parents. Helping each other seems to be the perfect solution. What it ends up being is a perfect opportunity for the combustible attraction between them to ignite.

Katee Robert's Fool Me Once is a sexy read with heart. Ms. Robert manages to balance a high heat level and genuine conflict with ease. She created characters readers will care about, dialogue that will have them laughing out loud, and a road to happily ever after that will keep you happily turning the pages until the end.

I would recommend Fool Me Once to any reader who likes a spicy story with snappy dialogue and an emotional core that pulls you in.

From the minute I had a sneak peek of their banter in "Foolproof Love", I knew Aubry & Quinn's story was gonna be entertaining, to say the very least. Instead, I got a story that zinged with wit, chemistry and feeling. I couldn't rate it less than 5 stars!!!

It was great to catch up with Jules and Adam, and Ms. Roberts gave us hope for Daniel & Hope's story.

Fool Me Once by Katee Robert is book two in her Foolproof Love series and it is definitely a case of opposites attract.

Quinn needs a date to his sister's wedding to keep away the flock of women his parents are trying to set him up with and Aubry needs a human wall to keep the hordes of people at a gaming convention away so her crippling anxiety doesn't overwhelm her and stop her from being able to demo her favorite video game. Will these two people who can barely stand each other be able to sheath their claws long enough to make it through this trip? Or will finally spending time in close quarters finally make them realize they may actually be perfect for each other after all.

I really enjoyed this story. Aubry is sassy, quirky, and Quinn is playful, patient and absolutely hot! I liked their chemistry from the start and how they each brought out the best in each other and supported the other in the novel as they got to know each other.

Overall, Fool Me Once by Katee Robert was a great story and I happily recommend.
