This book was encouraging and inspiring. I love how the authors share their personal stories and struggles while at the same time always pointing us back to God and His word.

This was a quick, easy read that I enjoyed. I didn't necessary think it was challenging or pushing me to growth. It was a great reminder and I would recommend it for anyone looking for a vulnerable story that will inspire!

The publisher provided an ARC through Netgalley. I have voluntarily decided to read and review, giving my personal opinions and thoughts

This book was slow starting but once I got over what I thought it was going to be I enjoyed much more. It was nice to get both of the author’s stories but I did feel like it was a bit awkward and didn’t transition well. I did love how they kept bringing it back to Jesus and that they used hunks of scripture instead of piecemealing things together to say what they wanted to say.

As always thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read and review this book.

I’ve followed She Reads Truth since its creation as a mere hashtag on Instagram as a way of keeping accountable. From there it’s spun into a huge ministry with books, their own Bibles and an app. I must admit I stopped following along when the “workbooks” came out because they were just so expensive and I far preferred the platform as a discussion and study prompt community than what it became. That being said, this book is a touching read, I especially like Raechel’s writing and her story resonates a lot with me.

She Reads Truth is everything we need when we need to be reminded why we read the Bible. It is everything I expected—encouraging, engaging, and enlightening. Amanda Bible Williams and Raechel Myers bring their characteristic friendly honestly to the page, much like in every devotional they pen. I will gladly recommend this to the women in my life and cannot wait to do their Bible study as well. They are refreshingly honest and open and their tone always feels like sitting down with a good friend. Beware: if you want a read void of emotion, this is not for you.

I've loved anything SRT has put out in the past and have been a devoted user of the app for years, so I was very excited to get the opportunity to read this book. Myers and Williams tell wonderful stories and I loved the intimacy they wrote with and how they associated the various life experiences with very encouraging Scripture passages. Although it was an easy read, I did find myself getting lost toward the end of the book. I didn't feel there was a major overlying theme to the book as a whole and each chapter had essentially the same message as the one previous. I don't know if I'm the only one who struggled with this, but it left me feeling a little disappointed. It was full of encouragement, so I enjoyed reading it.

Thank you for the galley. I have heard so many good things about the "She Reads Truth' movement, so I am almost certain this is a life changer. Unfortunately, I could not read the book before it was archived.

Once I got over the feeling like "where is the big picture point of this book?" I realized that the point was that scripture should be a daily part in every part of our lives. It should impact every moment of our lives: the big and the little. Through personal stories and testimonies the authors painted a picture of what life can look like when scripture truth is the center. Easy to read and relate to.
