Reading the first book in the series was enough. I had forgotten how dense this is, and I’m not just talking about the taboo topics, but the actual writing. |

Loved this book. A great end to an entertaining series! Thank you so much for sending me this book to read and review. |
I don't know why I do this to myself. I don't. It's an addiction. Did I Mention I Miss You? was everything I expected it to be; dramatic, angsty... the writing was great as always, but I didn't feel I connected with the story as much as I did the first 2 books. It felt like an unnecessary third wheel to the previous novels and detracted from the overall story more than it added. |
Did I ever mention that these are some of my favorite books? I don’t understand why the books aren’t more popular than they are. It has a forbidden romance that makes you swoon. And a hero that does funny things to your heart. Love this story so much! |
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this book!! I loved everything about Tyler and Eden, I was hardcore swooning over their relationship!! |
So I'm trash for this series, and I don't condone this type of relationship in real life, but wow reading about it in this book was addicting! I honestly didn't wanna put it down! I mean it wasn't amazing or life changing. but the plot was addicting and I always wanted to pick it up and find out what was going on and what was going to happen. It was one of those books that just keeps you interested and hooked! If you love those types of books I highly suggest starting this series! It's super fun to read! |

These books were a complete thrill from start to finish. I was kind of emotional roller coaster ride full of heartbreaking, desperation and sadness. Finally this bittersweet love story of Eden and Tyler comes to an END!!!! Thank you so much Estelle Maskame for giving us the incredible and heart warming love journey of Eden and Tyler. I will never forget this experience. |
Thank you for the opportunity to read this book. Unfortunately, it wasn't for me, but I'm sure others will love it. |
This was another read where I expected something different due to the premise I had read before requesting it. It was kind of slow and not really my type of thing to finish. No disrespect to the publisher and author, of course. |
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this trilogy. It's such a fast paced read that is also sweet and dark when it needs to be. |
I'm crying!!!! That ending was perfect!!! Omg! I cried a lottle. |
Not the best in the series. It feels like it is being dragged out now. It could have been finished in the second book. |
I felt like I had waited forever for Did I Mention I Miss You? by Estelle Maskame, so I was so excited to get my hands on it. This is the third installment in the trilogy, and it cannot be read as a standalone. If you haven't read the previous books, you will need to start there since this is the continuation of Tyler and Eden's story. Though I have really enjoyed this series from start to finish, this book left me with mixed feelings. A year after Tyler left Eden behind, she has done her best to move forward. Just as Eden thinks that she is finally over him, she heads home from college for the summer. But Tyler is also back home, and determined to get Eden back. But can Eden forgive him and take a chance, risking her heart once again? Let me just say that despite any mixed feelings I have had over the course of this series, Tyler is by far worth the read. His development and character have been amazing to watch from start to finish, with him making so much progress. I have loved seeing him grow and mature, even when I wasn't happy with things that happened. It was so good to see these two take their relationship from a childish love and turn it into the kind of love that endures every obstacle thrown their way. They had chemistry and an undeniable connection that never dimmed, regardless of whether they were together or apart. As much as I loved Tyler and this series though, this book wasn't my favorite. While I liked seeing them really come into their own and for once be on solid footing as they embraced each other and their relationship, this book was a bit lackluster. Not a lot happened, and I kept waiting for something that just never did. It just felt like sort of anti-climactic ending to this series that had the potential to be so much more. Though I was happy with the end result, it was a bit disappointing to think that I had waiting so long for not much to happen. I still enjoyed this series a lot, and Tyler is absolutely amazing. If you like YA romance stories with a lot of depth and development, this series is one you will definitely want to check out. |
I can't define exactly what it is about this series that I latched onto. Maybe I'm intrigued by for forbidden lovers. Or there's something about these characters worth getting to know. Or I want to see the underdog ultimately prove their detractors wrong. All of these things. So now when it comes down to the third and final installment, it's anyone's guess as to how it goes down. After you-know-what hit the fan at the end of the last book, DIMINY? Tyler went MIA leaving a stunned Eden to deal with the fallout alone. Her friends are confused, her step-brother despises them but what's worst of all is that her already strained relationship with her father has hit rock bottom. Home for the summer after a year away at college, Eden feels like an unwelcome guest back in his house. She never heard from Tyler so with the radio silence she's had this entire past year for all the anger, hurt and disappointment to fester. Then he unexpectedly returns, completely oblivious to the hell she and their family have been through. So of course, her stepmother declares that this is the perfect time to go on a family vacation. You can guess how that goes. During the trip, Tyler does what he can to make amends with the people he has wronged, most importantly, Eden. While the trip may soften her anger, she's still hurt and can't trust that he won't disappear again. Let's start with the ugly bits. The toughest aspect of DIMIMY? is that everyone's emotions are in turmoil. Eden, her father and her step-brother are downright hostile towards each other and it's nasty. There are not too many fun interactions when the family is involved and it's stressful. On the flip side, my favourite part of the story is Tyler's growth. He's been busy while he's been away and it's nice that his narrative develops in a positive direction. Eden I felt was a little stunted initially but considering circumstances she can't be blamed for that. Still I did feel that it took Tyler coming back for her to find some gumption. And even then, I wasn't entirely sold on the ending. Don't get me wrong - I liked parts of it. Just not all of it. DIMINY? caps off a fun trilogy. Like all the other fans, I've been in knots waiting in suspense to see how things turn out for our troubled young couple. Of the three books, I still think that the first one, Did I Mention I Love You? is the one I like the best. I think most readers will be happy with how things are eventually settled because, hey, everyone wants that HEA. None more so than Eden and Tyler. |
This was the perfect ending to the series. It did not disappoint, and I'm so happy that all loose ends were tied. Love always seems to follow life changing events, at least in romance novels. Eden and Tyler's love was no different. It found its way back even after more hurt. It was real, and heartbreaking. But in a good way. My emotions were on high alert with this story. I was angry, sad, happy, and at some point I wanted to jump inside the book and knock some sense into everybody. Character progression is probably my favorite part about reading a series. The main characters developed so naturally, and in a relatable way, that I felt even more connected to them and their story. I'm happy with the ending, and I know a lot of other readers will be too. |
The first book aggravated me some. The second book had me pondering. This book, the author did good. It picked up the pieces that needed to be picked up from the first two books and swept me far more into the story than I had been before. I am now happy I stuck with it and read the whole series. I have liked the titles the entire time, even with the mood swings and everything else happening in the family dynamics. My copy came from Net Galley. I wasn't required to leave a review, I do so because I can. My thoughts are all my very own. |
Tyler and Eden are so captivating to read about! Their forbidden romance makes this book impossible to put down, and I didn't put it down until I was finished. I am so impressed by Estelle's writing in this series and it has become my favorite series I've read this year. I'm really looking forward to reading whatever she puts out next! |
I received a copy via Net Galley in exchange for an honest review When I began the Did I Mention I Love You Trilogy, I didn't know what to expect but had heard other readers and bloggers raving about this new author. I instantly fell in love with Eden and Tyler and became enraptured by their family drama and their yearning and unquenchable desire for one another. So while waiting for each new book to come out, I was like an addict waiting for my next fix wondering what was in store for Tyler and Eden. Would Eden forgive him? How would they find their way back to one another? Would they ever be accepted as anything more than step siblings? Estelle answers all of her readers questions in this last leg of Tyler and Eden's journey which takes us traveling through California and Portland Oregon. They are a chaotic mess of emotions, hurt feelings, and broken hearts that we can't help but feel to our very core. Eden Munro has spent the last three years trying to blend into her new family with her step mom Ella, and her three stepbrothers including the irresistible and troubled Tyler who has kept her heart wrung out. Now, just when she thinks she is over him and only filled with hatred for Tyler, he shows up out of the blue and her feelings become muddled all over again. Eden quickly became the little sister that I wanted to guide, applaud, and cry tears of joy for along her journey. She grew and was a heroine I could be proud of when she stood up for herself and her self confidence and love for Tyler and her family came shining through. Tyler has been a ghost for the last year after tearing apart his family and leaving his stepsister, the love of his life deserted. Now he is back in California wanting Eden back and trying to mend his relationship with his family. It was inspiring watching Tyler grow into a mature, responsible man full of love and respect for not only Eden and his family but also filled with compassion for the plight of others. He shed his bitter, confused, and angry persona and became the man he was meant to be. He melted my heart and soothed my soul. Estelle Maskame delivers an ending to this poignant love story that shows every facet of this broken family and the forbidden love that once flourished and now is overgrown with broken trust and unresolved feelings. I highly recommend the Did I Mention I Love You trilogy for a story that has you twisted in knots and keeps you emotionally invested long after the last page. I will definitely keep my eyes peeled for any future works from this budding author. |

I loved this whole story. It's almost Romeo and Juliet. A forbidden love. I loved the chemistry between the characters. They were written well, and believable. Nothing irritates me more than when authors don't let the relationships between characters develop naturally and believably. These characters develop so naturally that it's easy to dream up the whole scenario. It was easy to picture everything happening in my head. I fell in love with this book. I haven't blogged this book series yet but it is next on my list! |
