I do not recommend this feminist view of the world! Truly disgusting.

Ms Bourland certainly knows the fashion industry. The first chapter alone was a who's who of fashion namedroppers.
Through a series of seemingly random events, Fashion editor Cat Ono and Police Detective Matt Hutton's lives are drawn together, apart, then back together again as the mysterious death of one of Cat's co-workers sparks a wild ride thru the fashion industry.
Surrounded by a gaggle of party girls, models, and frenetic magazine editors and writers, Cat finds herself through into the wild sea of internet and Insta-fame. How she handles the hard life of a magazine editor is the major focus of the book - and Cat's emotional growth.
With more fabric names, textures, styles, and industry secrets, Ms Bourland shows us what a true fashion maven is.
The pace is fast, the characters fully realized and the plot line solid. I highly recommend this little gem.

Can you die from being too skinny? That’s what authorities surmise when a woman is found dead inside the locked offices of RAGE magazine. But several weeks later, a letter from the dead woman shows up at the NYPD – a letter that reopens the case with detective Mark Hutton as lead. He gets some unwelcome help from RAGE editor Catherine Ono and her colleague Bess as they insist on getting involved. The ladies are determined to solve the murder as stylishly as possible. A tongue in cheek look at the fashion industry and our obsession with women’s bodies
