Another great collection written by great authors. I love reading collection of novellas. This gives you the opportuniy to read stories written by authors you may have not read anything from. Highly recommend.

This book is compiled of 9 wonderful, historical stories of life all over the United States. The premise is intriguing. I found these stories to be believable and each one has its own flavor of a story line. The thing that stood out to me the most was: it’s interesting how money can make some people go to some great lengths to keep it, even if it’s not really theirs… And for the honest, it’s hard to keep what is yours when people try to take it for themselves, just for spite. I highly recommend this read to you from Barbour Publishing.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

The subtitle states it well: “Nine Wealthy Women Struggle to Find Love in a Society that Values Money First.” Each of these unique stories held my interest, and the variety of scenarios offered plenty to enjoy. From homesteaders to mine owners and from nineteenth century America to the Alaska gold rush, travel with these intrepid women as they discover their place and the love they long for. Their challenges make for exciting reading. I like these compilations of novellas, and this one did not disappoint. I received the book through Netgalley. All opinions are my own.

I always have loved books like this and use to have a huge collection of them. I like that they are quick and to the point. I always fall in love with the characters and wonder about them later about how their lives went on.

Brilliant book. Excellent main characters and plot. I would recommend this book.

I loved the premise behind the stories. His was such a fascinating part off history that never gets much attention. It was fun to read the variety of stories surrounding influential women characters.

the American Heiress Brides novel is original at it's core. It is full of redemption, trust, callousness, eliteness, courage, courtesy and JESUS - AMEN. There is a kaleidoscope of emotions that comes over you as you read each story it is amazing. The book is full imagination and wit and I enjoyed every single word of it and so will you - each and every story of it.

Short story lovers will find much to like here. Also those new to the genre will find this an easy way to see what they like and don't.

I really enjoyed reading The American Heiress Collection! Nine separate stories all with a similar theme, I took my time reading this collection, reading just one story per night... There are many twists & turns, unexpected romances, some very dangerous moments and of course, there is love. There is a little bit of something for every lover of this time period.
I gave the book as a whole 4 out of 5 stars. I felt that a couple of the characters sudden development of feelings for each other seemed a little flat for me. I still enjoyed the stories and recommend this book.

Such a beautiful cover on this book! I really love reading these collections by different authors. Some of the authors I've already read and love and some were new to me authors. I loved reading the new to me authors and would love to check out more of their books. The perfect book for when you have a small amount of time you can read one story quickly or like me settle in for a longer, enjoyable read.
I recommend this to lovers of Collections and Historical Christian Romances.

Thank you to NetGalley and Barbour Books for a complimentary copy of this e-book. The review is my honest opinion.

These collections of novellas are wonderful when you have time for a quick read. They are thoroughly entertaining and engage the reader in the story. I have now read many of these collections. A varied list of authors that are sure to please any reader. Note: the offering from Susanne Dietze was my favorite.
*I received a copy of this book by the publisher via Net Galley. My opinion is my own.

Once again, a great collection of Christian romance stories to reflect upon. Each heroine is relatable which is important. I enjoyed reading collection, particularly The Heiress and the Homesteader by Lisa Carter.

I generally like these novella collections, they are quick reads and often an introduction to new to me authors. Overall this was a lovely read however I think I got spoiled with the last couple of collections I read and forgot that there are usually a few misses among the hits that maake up a collection.
The real problem for me I think was the first story was a huge miss for me, it made getting into the book difficult. The flow was off, the ending didn't really make sense and made the whole story-line unlikable. The next couple redeemed the book for me however there were two more less than stellar stories but they weren't as bad as the first.
Sweet Love, while I like the story I disliked the ending. It felt rushed somehow or missing a few key elements. Savannah's Trial, I liked the story even liked the ending but for a novella it was too busy. There were too many elements in this story and the ending was too much. There doesn't have to be a neat bow on everything for there to be a happy ending but this story tried however I felt like it just took away from the story.
My fave was "In a for a Penny". I loved the characters, I loved the flow of the story, I loved the story line, I loved the ending. I loved that I could see the story playing out and picking up the little things without having to be told what was happening.
Though not the best collection I have read in a while it is still good for what it is.

It's rare that I come across a book with this many stories and love it. The American Heiress Brides Collection is a great read. I enjoyed all of the stories and found myself thinking about the stories even after I was done the book. The Authors were all new to me and they didn't disappoint.
If you enjoy reading novellas & Historical books this is a must read!!!
