Holy moly what an intense read!
If it wasn't for the fact I was exhausted when I first started reading this I could have just binged on it in one go. In the end I had to settle for 2 sittings. There was no way I could go another day not knowing.
Irini was given to her aunt as a young child and never knew why. Her sister Elle remained with her parents. That's all I will say.
I adored the writing, the plot, the scenery, just bloody everything was perfect for me.
The characters were so well written, I got to know them so well that I could almost sense what they were thinking before I read it.
Full of twists and turns, such an exhilarating read. I can't wait to read more from this author.
If you like psychological thrillers, I would say this is for you.
Very easy 5 star read!

Wow what a first book!
Irini and Elle are sisters but one is given away at the age of three and one is kept.
Could you chose one over the other? What reasons could justify this? Was the choice the right one? What impact does this have on the child given away?
These questions and more are addressed in this psychological thriller. You think you have solved it and then the tale takes a twist and you are left wondering why you hadn't seen that coming.
Who do you trust?
This is a must read book which grabs you from the off and has you wanting to sit and read to the very end in one sitting.
Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher and the author for this advanced copy.

Such a dark and creepy story that does not leave you feeling warm and fuzzy at the end - just the way I like it! Steeped in complex family drama and psychological turmoil, when the main character Irini get a call in the middle of the night to tell her that her mother is dead, she goes back to her family home to find out why her family gave her away at three years old.
Raw, heart-breaking and gripping novel that I just could not put down!!
Addictive.
