Sometimes in life you are not chosen. Work, sport, partners, you are put aside, and it seems that there is always someone better than you.
The author talks of her past in the local sport team of the school and I smiled. Like her I was chosen at the end not being into sport a lot.

If sometimes this society can't appreciate everyone God surely appreciate the gifts He donated to you, all your potentialities and He is close to you in every second of your existence, also when you think that He is distant and distracted.

This is a powerful book for a world where we are losing our youth and even adults who feel lost unloved, and unwanted. Many have experienced not being chosen in life,in school, for a job promotion,or the one that your heart was set on loving didn't chose to love you back..
But, rejoice because The One created you, wrote your story before you were conceived, chose YOU! You're not here on accident, no matter if you were planned or a surprise(as I was-the unexpected twin). God chose you from beginning of time! I'm reminded of lyrics from "More Than You Think I Am" by Danny Gokey:"I'm more than you dreamed
More than you understand
Your days and your times
Were destined for our dance
I catch all your tears
Burn your name on my heart
Be still and trust my plan"
This book opened my eyes that were blinded by thoughts of rejection and reminded me of how much God loves me and He has a plan and is in control. I have a purpose, I'm Chosen!

You are not always "chosen" in life...whether it's for a job, promotion at work, to be on a sports team, by a potential mate, etc. There is always someone there to take your position...someone always better than you. However, by reading this book, you will learn that God has CHOSEN YOU! From the moment you were came into existence, He was creating you to be the person He desired you to be.

You have gifts, blessings, possibilities, potential. You are a loved by God and He wants you to know that HE CHOOSES YOU!
