Kaelen relationship with her father was a perplexing one everything about him was shrouded in secrecy and magic, so much so, that everyone around her wanted to bind her up with magical oaths. But she had an independent spirit and a sense for Justice which kept her focus on wanting the truth, although it cost a lot at times. She staunchly refused to accept the status quo that if you went bad there is no good remaining in you, which puts her in a collision course with those whom she loves. Her love for the Prince was a forbidden one but she had no way of escaping it nor did she wanted to. An action-filled adventure with a spice of loving in the mix, making this book an exciting, thrilling and entertaining read, a book of deep conviction and honor.
