Description

Two single parents and three adorable kids are about to have a summer they'll never forget in this sexy, heartwarming new novel -- for fans of Christina Lauren and Abby Jimenez.

Following the sudden death of his wife, Nathan Bell spent nearly two years burying himself in work and neglecting his biggest responsibility: his daughter. Overcome with guilt, he wants to connect with little Marley, but he doesn't know how to do it alone. And then Jenna Savage throws him a lifeline.

A single mom of twins, Jenna is more than capable of taking care of Nathan's adorable two-year-old and wants to help Nathan however she can. As the days go by and her attraction to Nathan grows, she can't help wondering what might happen if they became a family for real. And the closer everyone becomes, the more right it feels.

Falling in love forces Nathan to face his biggest fear, and when hearts -- both big and little -- are on the line, the only thing scarier than needing Jenna and her kids so much is losing them all.

This is my first time reading the author and this is book 4 in the series, that said I was never lost and I loved every second of this story and I need to read the other books in the series.

This books description sounded pretty great and it was even better than I imagined. Nathan is our hero and he is a broken man but he has a 2 yeat old daughter. 2 years before his wife killed herself and he has been avoiding his life and daughter in the 2 years. Until his parents tell him he has a daughter he needs to get to know.

Thats how he ends up meeting Jenna. Jenna is single mom to 8 year old twins, Oliver and Olivia (loved their names so much.) She works at home with the kids and she offers to babysit 2 year old Marley. And that starts a beautiful relationship.

But Nate is a broken man and his past gets in the way of the future. I loved Jenna so much. She is a giver and she has to learn how to take care of herself first. I loved that when Nate screws up, she makes him work for it. And Nate I loved so much too. He has been hurt by life but he has such a kind heart that he is perfect for Jenna.
I adored this book and this couple so much. I truly loved every single moment of this story.

Nate's wife committed suicide 2 years ago and left him with an infant daughter. Not knowing what to do and wallowing in guilt, he's let his parents take care of her but when they tell him he needs to step up he rises to the occasion. Nate has no idea how he's going to work and take care of a toddler. Then he meets Jenna, a single mother of twins, and he's thrilled when she offers to watch his daughter. Pretty soon Nate and Jenna realize how much they care for each other and for each other's kids. I really enjoyed this heartwarming romance with heat.

I literally read the last page and immediately wanted to start over! This is J Daniels best work in the series and an epic conclusion to it. I'm going to really hate to see these characters go. I absolutely loved everything about Jenna and Nate as a couple. Oh and who could not love those freaking adorable kids! Right off the bat I knew it was going to be tough to see Nate going through what he was for the past two years. It was heartbreaking all this guilt he carried around. Then when Jenna, Oliver and Olivia enter the picture my heart melted into this big puddle of goo. It was amazing to see Jenna bring Marley and Nate back together and showing him that he is a great father. There is just so much I could say about this book! I laughed, I cried, and I swooned. I felt everything, this evoked so many feelings out of me.

Well....
Here I am....
Crying in the nail salon over over Down Too Deep...

So many emotions!!! This book literally tugged at all of my heart strings. The father son bond was literally everything and the romance between Jenna and Nathan was perfect. I loved the character build up and the way that both of their main characters were their own person but weren’t (do I even make sense??? It’s probably the crying that’s making my brain a mush).

Gotta go before I completely ruin my manicure and the lady calls 911 thinking I’m going insane.

Thank you so much for sending me the widget!

J. Daniels returns with a story of a fathers struggle to raise his daughter and run his business whilst dealing with the guilt attached to his late wife’s death.

He meets single mother Jenna who not only wrangles her twins successfully but is also willing to help him with childcare when she happens upon him in his time of need.

Adorable and heartfelt, Down to Deep is my favourite book in the series yet.

Let me begin by saying that this is without a doubt my favorite book of this series and by this author. And let me tell you. I loved Bad for You. I didn't think anything could top it. But this one did. This book was a bundle of warmth, laughter and emotions.

Nathan is a widowed single father of a sweet two-year-old, Marley. For two years, Nathan aka Nate has drowned in grief and neglected his daughter. But, due to external forces, he needs to step up. And he kinda does. It's when he's trying to learn and raise his daughter that he meets Jenna.

Jenna, a single mother of twins, Oliver and Olivia, who instantly falls for Marley and offers to help out Nate in babysitting Marley. And Nate readily agrees.

What follows is a wonderful and heartwarming story of Nate learning and falling in love with his daughter with the help of Nate. It involves awww worthy scenes, hilarious scenes and mind-numbingly adorable scenes between these five people. We see them falling in love with each other. We see Nate falling in love with Oliver and Olivia.

And the ROMANCE, it's so HOTTT..!! Nate and Jenna's chemistry sizzles and burns. It's not a very slow burn. But it's the perfect burn for them. Their hot scenes are freaking smoking and panty-melting. Their journey of falling in love with each other is believable and I felt for them so much.

The story is about forgiving yourself, giving your life a second chance and trusting in love. It's about loving your kids and doing anything for them. It's about going to date nights, arranging sleepovers for kids elsewhere to find some time for naughty times. The book has enough kids scenes to satisfy my single parent romance loving heart. IT delivered all the adorableness and swoony scenes that I wish for in a romance with kids.

So, go ahead. Pick this book up. This book is for you if you love the following:

- Both the MCs are single parents
- Adorable kids scenes
- Funny scenes
- Hot times
- You love the crew of this series
- Good groveling
- Adorable banter between MCs

Did I miss something? If I did, you can always add once you read it..!!

I don’t even know where to begin with everything I loved about this read! It’s 5 stars hands down! Whatever feels that were being delivered in any given scene were done perfectly and hit all marks. Jenna and Nate were classic J Daniels characters that are easy to love and want to see happy. They were human, kind, raw and memorable. Dealing with big life experiences and seeing how they shaped each of them was heart tugging. The compassion and patience Jenna had for Nate was everything. I loved how the story never felt rushed and didn’t come packaged in an easy romance bow. There were bumps here and here but the way everything unfolded with them was realistic and addictive.

And let’s not forget about that emotion and chemistry! Wooo! I couldn’t absorb each word fast enough! There were tears, face fanning and breath holding! Everything was a 10, main characters, secondary characters … EVERYTHING! This just may be my new favorite J Daniels read and she is a forever favorite of mine!!!

This was my first book by J. Daniels and I really enjoyed it! We got a super cute romance and some adorable children. I am trash for single parent romances so I had high hopes for this one. There were some things that kept me from loving it completely but nevertheless, I enjoyed my time reading this.

I loved Jenna from the beginning. She was selfless and just so damn caring. The amount of love she gave her kids and even Marley warmed my heart so much! I couldn't get enough of her relationship with her kids. Now Nathan on the other hand, I had ups and downs with him. In the beginning, he wasn’t a favorite. Reading about him building a relationship with his daughter is what brought me to open up to him. While I can't say that I love him, I do this he was a good match for Jenna.

Daniels gave us so many swoony moments and just awesome characters to root for in general. I adored the relationship that Nate made with Jenna’s kids. The five of these characters made a family that so sweet to read about. I enjoyed the way that they cared for each other and showed their affection without hesitation.

So what were the things that I didn’t enjoy? I really don’t enjoy the dead spouse aspect of stories. Most of the time the character isn't ready to move on or they are still in love and trying to move on anyway. Either way, it takes me out of the romance that we are actually reading about. Since Nathan never wanted to talk about Sadie or actually it gave me the feeling that he wasn’t ready to move on.

Besides my issues, I enjoy this story and can’t wait to read J. Daniel’s backlist. If you are a fan of single parent romances and adorable children, then give this a read!

A great touching emotional read. Two single parents, three beautiful children and an exceptional story on love and family.
My heart died for Nathan and all I wanted to do was hug the beautiful man. Suddenly he’s a single father and he’s lost , trying to find his way back to his daughter and life.
Marley is a single mother of twins who will steal your heart. Their father not around they are desperately wanting to be a family.
This is an amazing read, the children, all three of them will have you laughing. I loved the story, the writing was phenomenal and I couldn’t put it down.
