By all accounts, Paul Huljich led a charmed life. He was a successful international businessman, one of the forefathers of the organic food movement, a multimillionaire, a husband to a loving wife and father of three....until one day when it was all taken away from him.

In 1998, Paul was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and suffered a severe nervous breakdown. Imprisoned in his own home by his doctors and family, funds frozen, and made a ward of the state, Paul feared he would never be free of medication or be the man he once was.
