Remembering Olympus

Ms. Murcherson is working with consultant, Bob Bare, to develop a marketing plan. This plan will be based on a model utilizing the author’s blog/website as the focus point.

● As shown on the attached PDF, a wide variety of media and actions will be taken to drive traffic to my blog, including blog tours, social media, content media, media interviews, news releases, incoming links, book review sites, book events, networking, giveaways, and public speaking.

● Once traffic has arrived at the blog, they will be given a choice of "paths" to choose which relate to their particular interests, such as a choice between learning more about creative writing, or learning more about philosophy and eastern thought.

● The goal after arriving at the blog is to capture the visitors’ permission to stay in contact with them. Enticements, free gifts, and promises of future discounts and bonuses will be offered if they will give their first name and email address and permission to keep in touch. This will be accomplished by offering some reward to them, funneled to a squeeze page which harvests their contact information.

● Following this engagement, the visitor will enter into a series of contacts at regular intervals to gain engagement and interaction, ultimately resulting in a launch offer to purchase Remembering Olympus.

Aaron Payne is a typical urban professional running away from his impoverished past. Intelligent and pragmatic, he rises above grocery budgets and the low expectations of his peers. Buried in corporate middle management, he molds himself into the sort who climbs the ladder to the corner office and social respectability.

Seemingly by coincidence, he meets Miranda Reed, a beautiful gentrified heiress who is as comfortable in the board room of her family’s conglomerate as she is at a charity fundraiser. Their attraction is awkward but slowly begins to take hold despite his background. Aaron begins to believe she is the key to erasing his past until unforeseen forces intervene and begin rewriting his happy ending.

In steps Claire Vinson, a mysterious publisher that seems to know more about Aaron that she will admit. Soon he becomes separated from what he has always accepted as ‘reality’. His life is thrown into upheaval when he begins to remember a disturbing truth that pulls him into a maze of shifting time and space, parallel universes, and past lives.

In this mystery that is to become him, Aaron crosses paths with intriguing and imperfect people necessary for him to get to the truth, but whose otherworldly presence is unexplainable. In pursuit of ‘who he is’, Aaron soon becomes the pursued after ignoring his mentor, Dalia Hunsaker. She warns him “…even goodness had its limitations.”

Prophetic in tone, Remembering Olympus is a mystical revelation that peels back the layers of certainty, challenges perceptions of reality, and gets to the question. Are humans more than mere mortals?
