This book is amazing! I've been avidly trying to renew my prayer life as it seems stagnant and, well., confusing. This book has been so helpful in this endeavor and I saved multiple passages for later review. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone! It's a great book focusing on the ways Jesus taught the disciples to pray, how to make it applicable to our lives today, and history about the prayers.

This is the second book I have read from Bob Hostetler. Both books have been centered around the red letters of Jesus, with this one being centered around his prayers. I was greatly encouraged just to simply look at the prayers of Jesus and chew on his words. Prayer has been one of the toughest challenges for me in my walk and this book was able to shed some light on my struggle with praying. I want to be a faithful prayer and this book helped to get me moving in the right path.
