Okay… I have THOUGHTS. 😂🔥

Unconditionally completely sucked me in. This was dark, emotional, chaotic and ridiculously addictive, and I absolutely flew through it. The kind of book where you tell yourself “just one more chapter” and suddenly it’s an unreasonable hour and you’re still reading.

Lucien is dangerous, complicated and about as far from a conventional hero as you can get, but somehow that made him even more compelling. I was fascinated by the relationship dynamics, the secrets, the betrayals and the sheer amount of emotional mess happening between these characters.

And the tension? EXCUSE ME. 👀🔥 The chemistry was absolutely there, with plenty of angst, possessiveness and spice to keep me invested. There were definitely moments where I wanted to grab the characters by the shoulders and demand that they make literally ONE sensible decision… but honestly, the chaos was half the fun. 😂

I really enjoyed the darker mafia atmosphere too. There was a constant sense of danger hanging over everything, and I loved how the secrets and betrayals kept adding another layer to the story.

Dark romance, morally questionable men, obsession, betrayal, angst, danger and enough chemistry to set the bloody place on fire? Yeah. This was very much my kind of book. 🖤🔥

An easy five stars from me, and definitely one I’d recommend to fellow dark romance readers!
