A skilled assassin. A murdered captain. A coded message. It’ll take more than a detective to solve this case.

Pandemonium erupts when a Louisiana sheriff’s captain is struck down by an assassin’s bullet. When a second captain is murdered in the same manner and a mysterious note is located at the scene, fear spreads like a virus throughout the department.

The only one not panicking is London Carter. A highly trained police sniper and a no-nonsense lawman, London is determined to track down the killer and put an end to this reign of terror—one way or the other.

As the body count starts to rise and the evidence proves lacking, London pushes doggedly on, ever aware that one well-placed bullet could bring an abrupt end to his own life—and the case.

But if he doesn’t try to stop the sadistic killer, no one will.
