Oooo I loved this, SO funny and so relatable 😍
My favorites were the comics about the outdoors 😅 and all the problems associated with them (bugs, allergies, sunburn etc) - which all feel very relevant as I read this on summer holiday.
I actually was lucky enough to recieve an ARC of this digitally but stupid me didn’t get around to downloading it quick enough, so I read this in paper form and it’s beautifully done.
Thank you anyway NetGalley and the publisher. And thank you Meg!
uper fun quick read!!
I feel so seen. This is a great book about life from the pov of a dog mom and wife.
It had me giggling. The art work is so fun!! I really enjoyed this book. If you need a quick shot of laughter and fun you should definitely pick up this book!
This was requested when I first found out about NetGalley and I had requested so many ARCs that I could not get to all of them before they were archived. I really wanted to get to this one, as it seemed interesting. If I can find this somewhere for a reasonable price, I will try to get it! I am giving this book three stars, as I don't want to give it a good or bad rating, since I did not get to it and we have to leave a star rating.
This is a charming little book of comics that I really enjoyed. I wasn't familiar with Meg Adams before picking this up, but I now I follow her on Instagram and especially like the comics she makes on mental health.
I didn't like the first pages. I really didn't like and felt disconnected. So I tried a bit more but I just felt like it really wasn't for me. The vibes were off which is pretty sad since I really liked the title. DNF
The illustrations for this were amazing. I found myself laughing out loud several times and will definitely be suggesting this to patrons.
Thank you to Netgalley for this arc.
While I am thanking Netgalley for this arc, I was unable to access it. For some reason, I could not open any version of the book. It makes me really sad to write this. So I am only rating the book because Netgalley said I have to
Funny and super relatable. The illustrations were adorable! I'd probably recommend to friends, as I laughed out loud a few times.
So random but I totally dig it. Loved the comics and the facial expressions are hilarious.
Buy a copy for your married friends and family and have a more than a few laughs and snorts. I’ll definitely be sharing this and thoroughly enjoyed the time spent with it.
Funny, relatable, exactly what I expected, it probably wont stay with me, but I enjoyed it whilst it lasted.
This book is a must read for fans of Meg Adams and other uber relatable comic artists. if you are looking for a gift for friends and loved ones that they are sure to read and says "oh goodness, that's me," this is the book for you!
I can't wait to see what Meg does next.
Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for this advanced copy of the book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Love the weirdly cute interactions.
A few repeats from seeing on social media but mostly new (to me) comics.
Only deducted a point because the way noses are drawn creeps me out a little.
*Digital review copy provided by NetGalley and the publisher.
This was a cute little collection of comics about relationships. Not a whole lot to say outside of that. It was enjoyable.
I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review
The best kind of funny.
Relatable, zany, and somehow both incredibly self-aggrandizing and self-deprecating... which is also super relatable.
Loved it! I have always been a fan of comics like this and this was just my jam. So relatable in a lot of the panels. I see myself and my life in her work so often.
This was such a fun read and so relatable and a millennial myself. I found myself laughing out loud at times and I found myself reading some of these out loud to my husband.
First off let me say how much I love the cute artwork throughout this book. I absolutely love the style and I think it goes great with the feel of the book.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It is funny and relatable in so many ways. There were several times I felt like this book was talking about me. It addresses everyday things people experience in their relationships, their own lives and even being a pet owner. This book will have you laughing but also make you feel a little better about those weird things you do because you’re not the only one.
I highly recommend for a good laugh and to make you feel a little better about yourself.
