Made Whole by Tiffany Aliche is a very practical financial guide! It is broken into 10 parts that essentially provide tips for how to build a budget, estate plan, invest and the like. What makes this book special is that it meets you where you are and drops the shame and seriousness around money and budgeting! I absolutely loved it and plan to take a few tips! It is easy to follow and very enjoyable which is impressive because budgeting and planning can be stressful so many of us!
Thank you to NetGalley and Rodale books for the digital advanced readers copy!!
Tiffany is a blessing to this world! This workbook is such a great tool if you are needing/ready to better your financial health. With step by step actions, (shes a teacher alright) you’ll be able to easily follow along a build a plan for your future! She breaks everything down so it is simple & in no way overwhelming.
My finances are a mess. Thanks to the Budgetnista they are a getting under control. This is a helpful book for anyone who’s trying to get their money organized.
If you have read Tiffany's first book, this is a great review with a few more charts and steps. You might feel like it is a repeat, and that's ok. It is meant to be a first stop on your financial planning. Feels like the perfect fit for young teens learning about money, planning for moving out or college, and those older who might have found themselves needing a restart. Thanks for the ARC from NetGalley.
Eh. I was drawn in by the summary, but as I read, I entered a familiar narrative. I was hoping this book would add something new to my financial literacy, however, it just taught me that there isn’t a lot of new findings in the field, unless you leave the States and want to understand how financial literacy differs from culture to culture
This was a very helpful book. Made me really think about how much I should save and how much I may need for retirement. It really broke it down so it’s easy to understand. Highly recommend.
This book was easy to follow, and it gave me the tips that I need to succeed in getting back on track with my money. It makes me do the work to truly understand what I am doing and why I am doing it. It made me dig deeper into my mental and to actually stick to the plan. I wish I had this type of book all my life. Glad I have it now and I will be telling everyone I know that needs some extra help in the money department.
As a long time follower of the Budgetnista, I could not wait to get my hands on this book!
I love that unlike a lot of financial books this was an easy read.
She hit on every financial topic we can think of : savings, creating a plan to get rid of your debt, and even having a will.
I loved it and can't wait to implement some of the things I've learned.
Thank you to NetGalley for the Arc, all opinion are my own.

This book is the PERFECT follow up to "Get Good With Money" and feels like the best way to make the information in Aliche's first book actionable and to really take my financial abilities that much further and feel that much more supported. A fantastic read I can't wait to get in physical copy.
I love all of the advice that Tiffany gives in this book.
I have been following her since the beginning of "The Budgetnista" days.
She breaks down financial terminology in clear terms and helps set up expectations for retirement, budgeting and living within your means. If you're in the younger crowd, I think this book is perfect because it is not overwhelming or intimidating.
Tiffany Aliche is not only an incredible financial coach but also an incredible writer. "Made Whole" is the perfect follow-up to her previous book, "Get Good with Money," but new readers to Tiffany won't feel left out should they start with "Made Whole." In this new book, Tiffany takes the reader through a similar 100% model for financial wholeness seen in her previous book, 10% at a time, and gets you thinking about each step more actively in a workbook format. By the end of the book, you've hit on all areas of financial wholeness, from essential savings and creating a debt plan to having a will or trust developed to manage life's inevitable end—making it so your loved ones can focus on grieving and not managing your financial affairs.
Financial literacy is often dull for most people, overshadowed by fear because they worry they don't have enough. Tiffany creates a light and playful dialogue with the reader, making you feel like she's right there with you—and having your back the entire time. If you're looking to get your feet firmly planted on the ground of financial literacy, you couldn't do better than starting here. You'll leave this title feeling educated and relieved that your financial life is much more put together than when you started.
I enjoyed this book. I feel like it was an easy break down to help with understanding money management for beginners and for people who have been off track for a while and need to start over.
This financial planning workbook is accessible and down-to-earth, sharing helpful information and checklists for people to get their financial lives in order. The author shares personal examples throughout, and also shares reflections from other women who have made positive changes. She's very encouraging, and she isn't afraid to deal with some of the emotional elements related to people's money experiences and mental blocks with money.
I had not read the author's previous book, but that did not take away from my experience. She explains everything very clearly, and this book is filled with helpful information. The author also shares ideas for where to get more guidance if you need professional help with a different part of your financial life. Although this book has workbook features, it isn't the kind of book with lots of blank spaces that you have to fill out. This has lots of substance and helpful insight, and the workbook elements are just extra.
I would recommend this to people who want to better understand personal finance and make positive changes in their lives, and even though this is mainly targeted towards women, the author shares great advice that is relevant to everyone.
On par with the previous book. I watched Tiffany Aliche in her Netflix documentary, and I'm part of her Patreon. I was really interested in the steps towards being financially stable. I am happy to have reviewed her advice. I received a review copy from NetGalley and have left my opinion.
I've been wanting to read Tiffany "The Budgetnista" Aliche's financial education books. Made Whole is an excellent workbook to help beginners to intermediate budget and money-conscious people organize and approach each step at their own pace. There are some details about each aspect of financial planning.
I've been wanting to read Tiffany "The Budgetnista" Aliche's financial education books. I've been extremely stressed about finances for the past year since paying for our children's college tuition while getting closer to retirement. Made whole is a great workbook to help beginners to intermediate budget and money conscious people organize and approach each step at their own pace. There are some details about each aspect of financial planning. For me, I'm at the stage of planning trusts and estates, especially a special needs trust for my special needs children.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest review.
