Who knew I’d enjoy a book focused on numbers and statistics? But The Longevity Imperative proved to be both fascinating and easy to understand. The author has a talent for taking complex concepts and presenting them in an engaging and accessible format. This book focuses on the less sexy aspects of health-care systems, such as the public health and monetary measures that need to be in place as more and more people live to be 100. Coming from a background in the caring professions, this was a refreshing read from a new perspective, with an emphasis on economics and statistics. But I also learned new facts about health, including the menopause. Thank you NetGalley for sending this ebook for review consideration. All opinions are my own.
