I’m afraid I found this book too simplistic, with unrealistic plots and everything tied up too neatly. Disappointing.

The book is about emotional connections, and dealing with some life altering injuries and bereavement.
It was an incredible book that kept me reading into the early hours (very rare I have to say). The characters were intriguing. Each individual it turns out has there own problems or issues which slowly unwind and evolve over time. It was easy to connect with the characters and the story was plausible.
What I like about this author is her chapters are short, and about one person per chapter. She has the amazing ability to end each chapter on a cliff hanger, this really was a pageturner!

I did not think that this was one of the author's best books. The plot seemed somewhat unbelivable and was drawn out. Perhaps I missed something given all the 5* reviews.

It is always interesting when a book is written from various view points. In this case it is the victim herself who moves the story forward through her recollections of the event. Lots of twists to the story that evolve over time especially towards the end when there were many threads interwoven into the story that I did not see coming. An entertaining book which was easy to read.

I've read other Jane Corry's books before but unfortunately this wasn't one of my favourites. The plot was interesting but some of the story seemed a bit unbelievable and the ending came across as being convenient to tie up the loose ends.. I didn't connect with any characters although I did like that it was written from different POV's. Thanks to NetGalley for my ARC.

WOW! This was an amazing thriller. It was full of twists and turns and I never saw any of them coming. I really believe you should go into the book blind, but the story follows three timelines and three main characters. Each of them were affected by an incident and now they're all struggling with the aftermath, but what really happened?

Fabulous, a must read for the summer.

I love how all the characters lives are entwined. Janie, Vanessa, Robbie, Judge …. Each one has their own story to tell and Jane has a wonderful was of making the reader feel like they really know the characters. I felt emotionally attached to them 🥰

Every time I thought the end was there …. Another twist came. Superb writing Jane 👏

An absolute page turner as there is so much going on. A lot of different strands to this story, unreliable narrators, dark family secrets, twists and turns. A bit too many coincidences and unbelievable happenings for me but I can see the appeal.

What a nail biter of a book! I absolutely loved it and read it in just a couple of days which is unusual for me. The short chapters made it hard to put down and I had to keep reading 'just one more'. There are three main characters in the story, Robbie, Vanessa and Janie, all with their own issues and the numerous twists, shocks and revelations had me completely engrossed. I loved the courtroom scenes and just could not foresee how it would all play out but it concluded well and left this very happy reader, and fan of Jane Corry, eager for her next book. I devoured this in one sitting. It kept me gripped throughout and even though quite a big read, I got through it very quickly. A very clever story with unexpected turns. The characters were well developed and enjoyed all of their perspectives

Another solid mystery thriller from Jane Corry and one that kept my interest throughout my only gripe was I felt that the conclusion fell a bit short but maybe that was just me.
Some great characters all with a story to tell, I particularly liked Vanessa she was so well written. I also liked quite a few of the twists that I hadn’t seen coming one in particular that I won’t mention as I don’t like spoilers!
It wasn’t by any means a bad book but it wasn’t my favourite by this author and still a read I can recommend, I look forward as always to the next Jane Corry to come.

For me this was a return to form for Jane Corry, after not enjoying her last couple as much as her earlier books. This was a really tense, rollercoaster of a story!

I Died on a Tuesday is told from the point of view of mainly 3 characters - Janie, Robbie and Vanessa. Twenty years ago, when she was only 18, Janie was in a horrible hit and run whilst riding home on her bike, which left her with life-changing injuries. Vanessa’s late husband Jack, a policeman. was one of the first at the scene and vowed to find out who was responsible. At the same time, Robbie’s band was starting to get noticed and he hoped to turn his life around and make a success of himself.

In the present day, we find Robbie - a huge superstar - arrested for Janie’s hit and run, but obviously hiding something that really happened that day, and Vanessa, still mourning the death of her husband - but beginning to find out things that shine a new light on his character and behaviour… meanwhile Janie is beginning to remember more things about that fateful day, but can they all be relied upon as the truth?

This was a very twisty and exciting story! It was hard to know who to trust at every turn - nothing is quite as it seems and each character has hidden secrets, it’s impossible to know who is good and who is bad! The links between the characters are very expertly woven together and I was kept guessing about what would tie everything up. I enjoyed the characters and couldn’t help rooting for poor Robbie and Vanessa!

A great read that kept me engrossed throughout!

I absolutely loved this book, where it seems everyone has secrets hidden about their past. It keeps interesting by the story being told from multiple viewpoints and Janie, the girl who died is very likeable. The main character, 20 years on from janie's accident is Vanessa, a witness support volunteer at court. I found her to be quite an irritating character (maybe meant to be?) Who had been taken for a fool by her controlling police officer husband. The book twists and turns and we eventually see lots of links between the different characters- Vanessa, Janie and judge.
It's an easy read, pacey and quite emotional at the end.

“I died on a tuesday” follows multiple POVs; the victim, the criminal and the protector with short easy chapters. watching this novel play out in multiple different views lead to more questions and constantly had me on my toes! i went through this whole book believing nobody and waiting for the truth to finally break. this book was fast paced, easy to follow and constantly had me guessing, this is my first book by Corry but it definitely won’t be my last!

This is my first book by Jane Corry. Seriously can´t understand why I haven´t come across her before.

This was such a clever storyline, totally engrossing, and very hard to put down. Many twists, great characters, and emotional ending.

Great book. Lots of random connections and no one is quite what they seem

This is a book about three people, their families and an event that happened over 20 years ago. Janie was horribly injured in an accident when she was just 18 years old. Robbie is a world famous rock star adored by all. And Vanessa, a middle aged police officers widow who is a Witness Support Officer at Exeter Crown Court. Told from multiple POV and in dual timelines this is a very tense and exciting read.

Briefly, there was an horrific accident with the perpetrators fleeing the scene believing they had killed Janie. Twenty years later Robbie pleads guilty to the hit and run and all of the ramifications of that day are brought home in a shocking story full of secrets and lies. Is there anyone actually not guilty of something?

A brilliantly written thriller where every time you think everything is out in the open something else crops up right to the last page! The suspense is palpable as the threads of each of the protagonist’s own stories start to interweave and I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. A great read I thoroughly enjoyed.

Jane Corry writes thrillers so well and I have become a huge fan!!

Could not put this down and had to finish it one go
