Thank u NetGalley for the advanced Arc of this self-help book

I got this book because I suffer from asthma and I wanted to see if over time following the practices could help with that more, I read this book slowly and took time with each exercise before moving on to the next because it takes a few weeks + for a new routine or habit to stick and if these worked I wanted them to stick.

Though reading this book I also kept notes, this book was very good and I have now got some new daily habits that help me... I found the information interesting and made me reflect on some things & I do like books that make u think 🤔 because you feel more of a connection to what's said.

I am going to buy this book because I got a lot out of it

Have you heard of somatic practices? It’s something that has been coming up in my social media lately and I have been really interested in learning more.
This book goes into somatic practices as well as other practices/exercises that help decrease stress and improve overall health.
It was easy to read and follow without being over complicated and drug down with lingo you wouldn’t understand.
There is scientific backing and even personal stories that go along with it.

I love the tutorials the book offers on different grounding methods, somatic practices, yoga and more.

Overall, well written and enjoyed. It gave me the tools I need to move forward and practice these healing methods on my own. I recommend it.

Excellent book! It's easy to read and the "exercises" are actionable and easy to follow. I appreciated the free online resources as well that are available with the book. The practice of yoga and other meditation exercises can at first feel intimidating, especially if you aren't "the type" and don't fit in with the model thin legging type. I appreciated how this book normalized the practice of yoga and meditation/stress relief exercises for all people.
