Thank you to Netgallery and the publisher for this ARC. The publication date is the 14th May. I loved this book it was slow at the start then the twists and turns started to roll in that made it impossible to put down. It had lots of suspense that had me gripped to my kindle.

It was impossible to predict the ending my favourite character was Nicole as I felt sorry for her at times throughout the book.

Overall, a suspenseful and gripping plot that will keep you on the edge of your seat till the end!

I liked the writing style but the story was slow and the characters weren't very interesting. I just wasn't invested in this story at all. Thanks for the advance review copy.

Her Husband's Lie by A. Reynolds, published by Boldwood Books, is a full length, stand alone thriller.
The book is well written, but something was off, I just couldn't put my finger on it what exactly is missing. All in all a good read, 4 stars.
Blurb: She thought she trusted her husband with her life; but a lot can happen in a week…
Handsome doctor Matthew Delaney and his wife Nicole have a perfect life. So when Matthew suddenly vanishes, Nicole is in shock.
As Nicole searches for answers, she uncovers a trail of deceit leading straight to the mysterious Glasshouse – a staggering palatial home constructed out of cut glass and icy granite, clinging to the hillside in a gravity defying show of power and wealth.
But the more Nicole learns about the Glasshouse and all its secrets, the more she begins to doubt her husband. Matthew’s words before he disappeared were so reassuring, but now they are simply chilling.

Secrets Will Out..
With a seemingly perfect existence, Matthew and Nicole Delaney appear to have it all. Or do they? When Matthew vanishes without a trace, so begins a tortuous journey for Nicole - one littered with lies and deceit and one which ultimately leads her to.. the Glasshouse. Secrets will always out. Immersive suspense with a deftly drawn cast of characters, a keenly observed setting and a narrative laced with a tense underlying vein of menace. Immersive and engaging.

A fantastically written domestic noir, crammed full of intriguing twists and turns. It's incredibly well-written and will draw you in. The characters are so well drawn and almost all, utterly loathsome. The ending was incredibly frustrating but it's a testament to Reynold's fantastic writing that she can create a world of such horrid people and I end up rooting for one!

Thank you NetGalley, Boldwood Books, and Amanda Reynolds for the opportunity to review this ARC. All opinions are my own.

Her Husband’s Lie had me gripped from very early on. The characters are all just a little off, which played really well into the suspense. I was very invested in the story and read it in less than 24 hours. I love how information is slowly revealed to you and how it makes you question everyone’s motives or involvement. The ending did not disappoint! A hint creepy at some parts, but nothing scary. I did not have this one figured out which is always a bonus for me when reading suspense/thrillers!

Oft, this had me hooked! It's got twists and turns, lies, secrets, revenge, manipulation... all the good stuff that keeps you on your toes lol! Well written and the characters are brought to life and given dimension. I flew through it in a few hrs and loved every second of it. The twists absolutely came out of nowhere and just when I thought I'd figured it all out, I was proved wrong once again

To outsiders, Nicole was lucky and lived a perfect life. The consultant’s wife, with a perfect marriage and luxurious lifestyle. But on the day of her daughter’s 18th birthday party, her husband Matt disappeared. Was there an accident or was he running from the patient’s accusation and tribunal that might ruin his reputation, his work and his life? Could Nicole and other family members cope? and how?

This story is fast paced and entertaining. Look out for the twists at the end!

Nicole’s husband Matt has gone missing after crashing his car not long after revealing to his wife the financial troubles he has got the family in to.
The book is fast paced and full of intrigue. Some elements of the end were guessable with a way to go but not everything.
The characters were well written, some likeable and some less so.
A good thriller and an enjoyable read.

I was instantly drawn into the seemingly perfect but secretly tumultuous life of Matt and Nic Delaney, a couple ensnared in a web of lies, betrayal, and dark secrets. With their daughter Lily at the heart of their world, they navigate financial ruin and scandal, as Matt, a gynecologist, faces serious allegations that threaten to unravel their lives. Everything changes when Matt disappears under mysterious circumstances, leaving behind a trail of questions after a shocking confession to his sister Grace and a murder.
4 stars ✨

I truly loved this book and sat up way to late to finish it.
Nicole's husband Matthew vanishes, have they arranged it? Even Nicole does not appear to know?
The characters were written really well, very few were likeable. Grace and Lily really annoyed me and even some of the police involved irritated me.
A real fast paced read which is not to be missed.
My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy.
Brilliant author i cannot praise enough.

I really enjoyed this quick paced thriller. It was well written and detailed. I felt like I was along side the characters, most of which were likable and relatable. I did, however, have to stop at times due to my dislike of overbearing, busy body Grace and bratty Lily. I could not believe those characters attitudes and mannerisms in real life.

Nicole’s husband, Matthew, has gone missing on their daughter’s 18th birthday, There’s been a mysterious crash near their home, but no sign of him. After discovering he’s about to be on trial for inappropriate conduct at work, has financial troubles, and infidelity, was the crash an accident or did he purposely disappear? This story is filled with twists and turns you never see coming and kept me guessing throughout. Entertaining till the very end.
