A fun little book, my daughter (10) and I enjoyed quizzing each other and learned some new facts. Our only criticism is that it could do with some colour or pictures to make it more visually appealing to children.

As an adult, I love discovering new facts and information so this was perfect. I've got a class of animal lovers this year so this would engage them on multiple levels as they read and then share new facts with each other and their families. It will be a great addition to our school library.

I loved it!

Funny little book about trivia for dog or cat lovers. I know my dog breeds, but not cat breeds. I also learned a few facts about both animals such as dogs have more bones and teeth than humans do, one breed has six toes, and cats actually have better hearing than dogs do. Chihuahuas are the smallest dog breed in the world. Singapuras are the smallest cat breed in the world.

Any cat or dog love (must at least like the one you don't love) would enjoy this book. Lots of fun facts in a trivia question style. Would have been even better if there'd been a little cartoon depiction on each page. It is a bit boring visually. Also, not every question page needed to say, "Flip the page for the answer." I think we could have figured that out.

Intrigued by the title and cover and as a dog and cat lover wanted to see what this was about.

Standard trivia layout with a question on one page and answer on the next. A few weird and wonderful questions mixed with some common. A bit more illustration could perhaps brought it to life a bit more.

This was such a cute trivia book full of amazing dog and cat facts and questions that I cannot wait to to test on others soon.

This book had a lot of trivia about cats and dogs. I found it very interesting more than what I thought it was going to be. I learned some interesting things about animals. I could see this being maybe used in schools or at dr office while waiting or maybe like my job we have a daily trivia every morning in our meetings.

This is a fun cat and dog trivia book for the whole family. It’ll provide hours of fun, you could even bring it out at family get togethers.

My only negative was that I wish there had been illustrations throughout the book.

I had such high hopes for this book I love books about trivia and about cats and dogs so when when… Right? No this book is written as if the reader is privy to what the author meant when she wrote certain things not to mention there’s at least five links on each page which I think should’ve been put in the back of the book I found this book confusing hard to get into not to mention some links were put under the wrong heading and I just couldn’t get into it. The book also was all over the place and everywhere from cats teeth to the best breed there was no rhyme or the authors reason and sadly I would not recommend this book at all. Mixed thoughts about this one. My kids love cats and dogs, so they love the trivia questions and facts. But that’s about it, because the interior is so boring! The cover is cute, but the pages are so blank. It needs lots and lots if pictures!

A Woofing and Meowing Good Time with Dog and Cat Trivia by Dr Maryann Beebe-Ally is a fun nonfiction book loaded with jokes and trivia. The book is a cute easy read that has fun facts from beginning to end. I loved learning little facts, my favorite being what a cat purring does. The book also contains fun activities at the end. Definitely a fun fact filled quick read.

This isn't really a book meant to be read in a single sitting, but rather to be picked up and shared with loved ones for fun. There are so many cool facts I didn't know, like that dogs have more bones than cats but cats have a lot more vocal sounds. In the end, there are several fun word searching puzzles with great fun pet words. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

I am a cat lover and have two cats at home. My students have got used to seeing my cats in front of the camera when I teach online. They are all cat lovers now. I think they will love this book. A minor complaint: I think there are slightly more pages on dogs than on cats.

This book caught my eye because of my love for all things cat related!

I liked the vast range of questions this book provided, and I did learn some new facts about cats and dogs, too.
The bonus wordsearches at the end were a nice touch, but they would have been better spread out through the book to break up the monotony of all the questions. After about 10 minutes, the book became a tad tedious and no longer held my attention. The pages just became too samey. It would have done wonders to have some illustrations running throughout for the kids to look at.
All-in-all, this is good for a quick 10 minute read to yourself or with the kids to have a little q&a time. It does recommend this up to 18 years of age, but I think it would be better suited for 8-12 year olds.

I love this trivia book for cats and dogs. I am a foster mom to kittens and I enjoy having bits of trivia. Some I did not know. As I work from home as a speech therapist, I often incorporate information about cats for my students as they are aware of my foster kitties. This book is perfect for an entire lesson plan based around trivia and can also introduce new vocabulary as well as learn about new and exciting breeds of dogs and cats. I will be using this for the duration of the year in my therapy sessions. Also, a five star bonus is the word search puzzles at the end

This was a cute trivia book with lots of interesting dog and cat facts. There are even some word search games in the back that focus on dog and cat breeds, adding an extra dimension to the learning experience.

The only thing missing are pictures. I would have loved some pictures to accompany the facts, especially when the trivia is about a specific breed. It would have really elevated and complimented the material.

A fun and educational learning experience.
