Ben and Elira are a couple planning to be married soon. Ben is a business entrepreneur, and Elira works for the US Department of Defense in their computer technology division.

Most of the news networks and television broadcasts have been seized and are government controlled. In the midst of all the chaos, a new young leader emerges onto the international scene with promises of peace.

With the sudden vanishing of millions of people, new martial law going into effect, impeding the freedoms of everyone worldwide, Ben and Elira are faced with the reality that they may never see normal peaceful days again. At least not how they knew it.
