These books were so cute! I can’t wait to show my daughter the bug book as she’s been really interested in ladybugs lately. The Happy Stories for Animal Lovers was absolutely adorable! It was full of such beautiful illustrations and fun facts about animals. The Pond and the Park was a really adorable story about friendships. Respect the Insect book was very interesting to my son who has been hesitant with flies coming inside. Hee hee. He always really enjoyed Little People Big Dreams about Stan Lee and comics. My daughter is going to love Gabriel’s Toothfairy Tale as she’s been waiting anxiously for her tooth to fall out. Torla and Smorla was a really cute book my younger song loved. The Bison and the Butterfly was precious! Add these books to your kids summer TBR lists for summer reading programs. Thank you @netgalley for these advance copies!

I. Love. Bugs. I can remember being a little girl and waking up at 5am every day, giddy to go outside and look under rocks for bugs and worms. I have always been disappointed, however, to learn that the love of creepy crawlies is not universal. I can't tell you how excited I am that there's a book I can give all the little kids in my life to hopefully encourage them to respect and even perhaps admire beetles, ants, and moths.

Every page is illustrated with bright, cheerful, friendly depictions of all sorts of different species of insects. There's lots of information in the book too! Most of it would be too hard for a kid under about 7 or 8, but I think if you've got kids in that 7-10 age range, this would be a perfect gift. To be totally honest with you, I'm an adult woman, and I'm going to buy a copy of this for myself because I loved it so, so much.

This book made me happy, and when it comes out in July, it's going right on my coffee table!

The graphics are amazing—they're vibrant, interesting, and fitting! This book's layout is incredibly thoughtful and well-organized, and its content is easily readable. Undoubtedly, this is a book we will cherish and consult frequently in our studies!

Loved this book, the illustrations are amazing, funny, quirky, adorable!

This really keeps the kiddos (and adults) interested throughout with the fun names like “garbage guzzlers” -black soldier fly and “fantastic farmers” -Ant. It’s also written as the insects POV so that really kept the kiddos throughly interested!

All I could think about was “how cool would this be as a kids cartoon show?” The colorful pages and bite sized info were so entertaining, I’m 23 years old but let me tell you something, I never knew half of the amazing things those insects offer us. I would definitely still kill cockroaches.

I thoroughly enjoyed the wealth of information presented, highlighting the various roles each insect plays and sharing interesting facts about them. This blend of education and entertainment made for a delightful and enlightening reading experience that both my child and I truly appreciated.

Colourful children’s book about insects. Like many invertebrates, insects aren’t necessarily our favourite animals. Yuck, go away or ahh, comes to mind. Or a quick squash with a foot. But for some they are fascinating, there are so many unique often interesting species, and ultimately our world wouldn’t function without them. Here is a book that children can read, where the insects, presented as colourful drawings, are not so scary, but insects lives and roles are presented for youngsters to think about and learn. Science books should all be fun like this. With bright, cute pictures, kids can learn so much about the role of insects in the world. The illustrations are phenomenal, colorful, engaging, appropriate! This book is accessible, has information that is easily digestible, and the layout is so well organized and thought out. This is one we will be keeping in our forever library 🙂

Brimming with vibrant illustrations, this book serves as a treasure trove for insect enthusiasts. It delves into the world of unique and uncommon insects, showcasing species not typically found in ordinary books. Remarkably, the facts presented in the book are closely connected to our everyday surroundings. As a result, with a keen eye, we may encounter some of these fascinating insects from the book in our environment. Without insects like the ones in this book, we wouldn't exist. But they are disappearing quickly. So it's our responsibility to use things wisely without disturbing the environment.

The release date for this book is July 9th. I will definitely be adding this book to our home library.

Respect the Insect is such a fun and informational book for all ages. Learn about cool characteristics of bugs and their importance in our eco system. With pesticides becoming increasingly used in our society, I think it’s vital to understand and spread knowledge about the benefits of insects, which really does start at a young age. As a gardener myself, my kids thoroughly enjoyed flipping through the pages and learning FACTS as well as the funny illustrations. Any science or nature loving kid is going to love this book and it’s a must for Spring and Summer.
