A Note From the Publisher

I have been writing non-fiction for over fifty years and for a few years worked as a freelance journalist for a number of leading computer magazines. With my wife I ran a communication skill training company for 12 years. Following that I was an online course tutor for five FE colleges. I have been an active member of Weobley & District Local History Society for 20 years, 10 years as chairman. I was an active Quaker for 12 years including 3 years as an elder. during which time I facilitated workshops in England and Wales. I am now an active member oh Herefordshire Interfaith Group for whom I facilitate workshops and lead group discussions. In 2009 I was diagnosed with kidney cancer and my left kidney was removed. Since then I have had various bits of me removed and since 2015 have had metastatic cancer in my lungs. There are now tumours in my pancreas and one was recently found in my humerus and removed. Throughout this period I have maintained symptom free health largely though exercise, meditative practices and diet. I intensified my regimen in 2022 after a short period of chemotherapy from which I withdrew because of its detrimental effect on my overall wellbeing, I have had support from nutritionists, an acupuncturist and, currently, from a kinesiologist.

Advance Praise

Brian Holley’s attitude in treating cancer cells as friends that need to be healed, rather than enemies to be attacked is revolutionary. It flies in the face of the allopathic treatments offered in most western hospitals. He provides readers with a cornucopia of choices available to either support chemo and radiation, or as alternative treatments. It takes much work and experimentation to discover what works for each of us, but the improved quality of life this alternative road offers is indisputable. Brian’s book provides a path for new hope and life in the face of despair.
