Bloomsbury’s academic division publishes around 1,100 books a year, with a significant presence in the humanities, social sciences and visual arts. Our acquisition of Continuum in 2011 added to a prestigious portfolio which includes Methuen Drama, The Arden Shakespeare, T&T Clark, Fairchild Books, AVA, Berg and Bristol Classical Press titles, now published under the Bloomsbury name. Rowman & Littlefield was acquired in 2024 and those titles are published under the Bloomsbury name as well.
