Such a fun and simple way to work through your anxiety. The tasks and prompts are helpful and allow you to process and move on from your anxiety. Some pages are more serious while some are silly. I had such a fun time going through this workbook and it distracted me, at least for a little bit, from my anxiety and allowed me to chance my perspective.

This is a fun little book full of creative ways to reduce anxiety. I particularly liked the prompts about listing things you are grateful for alphabetically and writing out "what flips your switch ". I would definitely recommend this book as a creative way to relax and release anxiety. Thank you to the publisher and Netgally for allowing me to review this book.

This is a fantastic guided journal and tool to tackle your anxiety and stress. It has it's foundation on evidenced-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The promps allow you to show off your creativity while helping you to gently reframe your train of thought regarding your issues.

I love this journal, and can’t wait to get a hard copy when it’s released! The quotes and prompts are wonderful, and will help get anxiety out of your brain & onto paper in a meaningful way. Thank you so much for this journal!

Unfortunately I cannot provide an accurate review on this occasion because when I opened the file, there were only a couple of introductory pages of images. Perhaps an issue with the downloadable file? I hope it can be fixed for other ARC readers. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to try it out.

As a sufferer of anxiety, I found this very helpful. It's basically a journaling workbook with simple, easy to follow directions. It's grounded in sound psychological principles.

Thanks to Netgalley for giving me this eARC. This is my honest review.

Anxiety is a disorder characterized by worry, fear, and unease about future events. This journal is a great way for individuals with anxiety to keep track of their symptoms and progress. It contains questions that are designed to prompt self-reflection and encourage you to change your perspective by focusing on the positives.

The journal has nice pretty outlays for writing in, and it even has a space to record your goals and aspirations.

There isn't a whole lot in the book mostly just little prompts with sections for you to write in. This could be negative to some but I actually really like this format because it helps you become more self-aware about your feelings and behaviours so that you can take control of your anxiety and improve your overall health.

4/5 Stars from me.

***A big thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for my advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.***

I enjoyed this journal. I will most likely be purchasing a physical copy to help with my anxiety. The prompts were simple and easy. Definitely helped me feel calm and get out of my head. The only downside was I received a digital copy so couldn’t do all the cutting and taping it suggested. There were some prompts that I did not like, but in the beginning of the journal were it gives you tips, one of the tips was that I could “scribble it out and do something else with the page.”

This a journal that has prompts that are based and grounded in principles of CBT, DBT, mindfulness based therapies, experiential therapies, or neuroscience.

I highly recommended this for anyone struggling with anxiety

I received this book free from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book has some wonderful exercises to help with managing symptoms of anxiety. I found some of them to be less helpful for me personally, but others might enjoy them still! Overall, I’d say a solid collection of thought-provoking and helpful tools to reflect on and challenge anxious thoughts.

This is a fun self-help book that uses concepts from CBT, mindfulness, and other evidenced-based therapies for dealing with anxiety. It has the format of a creative journal with lots of coloring, drawing, and writing. I think it would make a great companion for anyone dealing with anxiety, especially if accompanied by regular therapy.

This is a great little workbook and I would happily get it for myself and others. Just taking a glance through it it looked good, but then in the midst of anxiety I decided to try out one the the pages that did not require me to use the physical page (since I only have it digitally) and I feel it really did help me calm down.

Put Your Anxiety Here: A Creative Guided Journal to Relieve Stress and Find Calm by Lisa M Schab

This is a journal with prompts for activities to help you reduce feelings of anxiety and increase feelings of peace in your life. The prompts vary in style with some asking for limited physical activity (stand and shake out your stress until your body feels relaxed), while most ask you to write or draw something. Many of them ask you to write down or think about what’s creating anxiety and then either distract you from those thoughts or have you work through the thoughts until they change into more peaceful ones.

Everyone approaches self-help differently and the style that works for me may not work for you. I liked that the book starts with some tips for how to use the journal, emphasizing that the purpose is to help relieve your anxiety. There’s no wrong way to use it. You can follow the prompts, or not, as long as you end up feeling more peaceful after your time with it.

I found myself alternating between following the prompts as written and adjusting them to fit my mood/way of thinking. For example, one prompt asks you to write something that makes you smile for each letter of the alphabet. As I was going through the letters I found myself writing in a lot of activities I enjoyed instead. And the more I thought about each activity - and the joy doing them brings me - the less anxious I felt.

I was surprised that there wasn’t a page at the beginning for writing a general list of things that make you feel anxious. I found a few prompts later on that asked you to write some down, but wanted something right at the start to help me focus on what I was working towards eliminating. So I took one of the mostly blank introduction pages and made my own list there. I found that writing down information for one activity allowed me to see my anxiety in more helpful ways. That by looking at one aspect of the problem I was able to look at the bigger picture and it didn’t seem so insurmountable anymore. I made a few breakthroughs in terms of how I think about anxiety and how I can deal with it in the future. Not every prompt worked for me. I skipped a few, though I may return to them in future sessions.

The journal ends by asking you to rate they type of prompts that helped you the most, so you recognize the style that worked best for you for follow-up guidance.

I would recommend looking at the book first and trying one or two activities to see if this style of journal/self-help book works for you. Personally, I found it a very helpful journal and really appreciated a lot of the prompts and the things I learned about myself by following them. I can see myself using some of these techniques - and even the same prompts - in the future when anxiety hits.

Sometimes my anxiety gets too bad that I cannot pick up a book, log in and post updates, my health goes crazy bad, feeling tired all day and what not.

It’s at times like this I just would not be able to do something about it. I let it be. I know it will pass. I try not to think too much about it.

But what I can to lessen it, I can make it happen when I have days when I feel better and looking forward to have a peaceful normal day. And it’s at these times I desperately need to journal, read a good book and just have some good sleep.

And this is the kind of journal I am always looking for!

Do not worry about doing too much or too less either with this journal. It sets the right tone for any day any time you need to do something to calm yourself down.

I can say it’s very minimalistic and you will not need much to plan or do.

It’s quite helpful.

I am just waiting for the physical copy.
Looking forward to it.

(Somehow I feel quite relaxed just reading the ebook ARC. Feeling better already.)

Thank you, New Harbinger Publications, for the advance reading copy.

This journal is beautiful and I absolute want a physical copy. Since this was an ebook there was no way for me to actually fill out prompts but I did write notes in a blank journal I have. Some prompts seem childish but I still enjoyed it.

This is such a fun introspective activity book - this book really allows for creativity, introspection and to be kind to onself. Its a beautiful balance between meditation, self-improvement, creativity and relaxation. I think anyone can benefit from a activity book such as this, anxious or not!

Great workbook with journal prompts as well as exercises for people of any age who struggle with anxiety. I would recommend this to tuck in a backpack or purse for a person who struggles along with a pen or some colored pencils. Having it available to use when stressed could be helpful and fun. Recommended for kids and adults who struggle with anxiety, and those who love them. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for a free eCopy of this journal. All thoughts are my own and no review is required

This journal is beautiful, it made me cry just reading the prompts. Because I had an eCopy, I wasn't able to actually write in the book, but I'm excited to buy myself a paper copy so I can use it, this is a valuable resource I can see myself using again and again

I think some people might call it childish, and some of the prompts almost do seem juvenile, but I also think that's also a valuable key to healing your inner child. Inner work isn't always clinical discussion and technical names. Sometimes it's giving yourself permission to scribble all your fears in a guided journal and let them go

The prompts were also really unique, there were several I'd never considered and made me have sort of a lightbulb "oh my goodness, that's what I need!" moment

For my Christian friends, there were one or two places where "the Universe" is mentioned, but as it's a journal you're meant to write in anyway, it's be very simple to simply write over it and add God where he should be acknowledged

All in all, a very valuable resource and one I would recommend to anyone struggling with any form of anxiety, whether an anxiety disorder or simply struggling with some anxious thoughts
