Soup is literally one of the most versatile foods ever! Usually they are packed with proteins and veggies, so they are an excellent way to get nutrients especially when feeding your children. I typically only make soups during the cold months but this book just shows that you can enjoy soup anytime!! Looking forward to trying these out with my family.

SOUP SEASON!!! These recipes are wonderful. 10/10 am adding most of them to the rotation. I can’t wait to try all of them. There’s a good mix of types of soup in here too, something to fit all tastes.

Every Season is Soup Season was just what I needed this time of year. I'm a big soup lover, especially during the winter months when it's cold outside. I thoroughly enjoyed the recipes in this book. They were written nice and simple for a novice cook like myself, highly recommend!

I was really excited for this one but these type of recipes are not my thing. Really great sounding soups with lots of vegetables and variety across the seasons but I didn't find a single recipe that I wanted to expend that type of money to purchase ingredients for.

Many of these recipes I can't quite wrap my head around but the couple that we have tried are good. If you're looking for something off the wall that you won't find anywhere else, this is for you!

Every Season Is Soup Season is a great cookbook, showing how leftovers can be repurposed into something totally different. Most recipes have a second option, great for those who have picky eaters who will just not eat the same meal two days in a row. The introduction includes equipment, serving, and storing the leftovers. The pages are colorful and show off the finished dishes to their best advantage.

The book is separated into the following sections, which I have listed with some of the standouts.

Fall: Roasted Tomato Soup; Ricotta Gnocchi with Vodka Sauce; Smoked Paprika Tortilla Soup; Nachos

Winter: Carrot Orange-Ginger Soup; Savory Sesame-Carrot Oatmeal; Broccoli-Cheddar Soup; Baked Broccoli-Cheddar Pasta

Spring: White Bean Chili; White Bean Hot Dish; Pressure Cooker Black Bean Soup; Stuffed Poblano Peppers

Summer: Corn and Roasted Poblano Chowder; Savory Corn-Poblano Pudding

Soup Enhancers: Candied Bacon; Shredded Chicken

Accompaniments: Kale Salad with Parsley-Lemon Vinaigrette; Quick Yogurt Flatbread; Cranberry Chili Beer Bread

There is a lot of creativity here and can provide a jumping off point for readers to think of their leftovers in a different way. As a fan of soup, I can definitely recommend Every Season Is Soup Season.

Disclaimer: I was given an Advanced Reader's Copy by NetGalley and the publisher. The decision to read and review this cookbook was entirely my own.

I'm a sucker for a good cookbook, and soups are always a great way for me to use my produce (and other leftovers) to create one dish that will last for multiple meals.

The book leans towards vegetarians, but there are definitely soups for everyone to be found within.

Every Season is Soup Season by Shelly Westerhausen Worcel is a collection of over 85 go to recipes for soups, soup fixings and more. There are recipes for broths, gazpacho, chowders, chilis. There are recipes to transform soup into a new dish. The recipes are veggie recipes. The book has tips for batching and freezing.soups. There is a section for soup accompaniments such as breads, salads, and slaw. The book incorporates 100 beautiful photos for fall, winter and spring.
I enjoyed looking at the photos of sceneries and pictures of what some of the foods look like from the recipes. There were some recipes I would like to make.

Having recently finished “Every Season is Soup Season" by Shelly Westerhausen Worcel, I am happy to have had the chance for the Advanced Reader’s Edition e-copy; thank you NetGalley and Chronicle Books!

What a beautiful cookbook! I found a few unique possibilities that I'll be able to add to my recipe rotation. I'm always in search of something simple and many of these recipes will be easy to prepare. Directions for most of the soups included stove top, slow-cooker, or pressure cooker options. The inclusion of recipes to make using left-over soup were unique possibilities for the dinner table too. I'm glad to know that our library system ordered a copy of this book for our patrons to enjoy.

As the weather turns to soup season in my house I was delighted to get a chance to preview this book for netgalley. Every Season is Soup Season is organized by season and has wonderful recipes not only for soups but other seasonal accompaniments. Very inspiring and several I am looking forward to trying!

Did someone say FALL? Soup season is here! Every Season is Soup Season is a fantastic new cookbook that doesn't take all the obvious paths. Containing recipes that are originally all vegetarian recipes, Worcel offers ideas for meaty options to adapt each recipe, and also provides a wide variety of styles and flavor profiles of soups. It's not easy to create a cookbook that feels like a fresh take on classic ideas, but Worcel has done it. Each recipe has pictures to accompany it (a necessity, as far as I'm concerned), and even better? Has clever tips and ideas, and creative recipes for the use of leftovers of each type of soup. A souper (I had to) original cookbook to explore!

My thanks to Chronicle Books and NetGalley for allowing me to preview this title in exchange for my honest feedback.

I love soup but I generally tend to eat it in the fall and winter. This gives me so many great ideas for soup all year. The pictures are beautiful and the instructions easy. I love that there are instructions for pressure cooker or slow cooker (depending on the recipe) and how to store it. Making a big batch is so much easier.

This is a vegetarian book, so there are quite a few that call for legumes and I can’t have those, but the others are wonderful. The author does add in suggestions for meat add-ins though. I can also see myself using these are sides (since they are veggie heavy) and have chicken breast, or some other meat main dish. I look forward to trying more in the spring and summer months.

This was such an amazing collection of recipes for my absolute favorite type of food—SOUP! I loved the creative approach of making several small changes and creating a completely separate meal. Beautifully written and easy to follow recipes. I will be using this book throughout the fall and winter!

Thank you to NetGalley and the Publisher for the copy on my kindle!

Read a cookbook completely devoted to soup? Yes, please!!

I love soup and Every Season is Soup Season did not disappoint. The cookbook contains four sections, each devoted to the four seasons of the year. The soups were unique, something you might find in a eclectic restaurant. I loved the Asian-inspired soups and I can't wait to make these amazing recipes!
