Renee Tate needs to spread her grandmother’s ashes around a special tree in the small town of Garland Falls, MN. Her grandmother’s ghost decided to tag along and do some matchmaking. There, Renee meets a tall, quiet man with a gift for gardening. What would he think if he knew she could see and talk to ghosts?
Parker Callahan is the groundskeeper at Warner’s Bed and Breakfast. When Renee arrives, he’s asked to help her find the special oak tree she needs to spread her grandmother’s ashes. What would she say if she knew he’s one of the mythical Green Men and a spirit conduit between this world and the other side?
As Halloween approaches, and a dark presence is detected by Parker and the town elders. He’ll need Renee’s help to cross over the ghosts before they’re taken by the looming shadow.

This story was sweet, touching, and magical with a couple of matchmaking ghosts who tag along to make sure our main characters see how well they fit together.
Like the ghosts, I felt that Renee and Parker were a great match for one another. She can see and talk to ghosts and he is a Green Man who can also them to cross over to 'other-side'.
The contemporary romance and the magical realism/paranormal elements work for me with the slow introduction of the dark presence in the woods and mystery of what happened there.
This story had so many lovely elements--magic and the paranormal included.
I only wish we could have 'seen' when Renee first encountered her grandmother's ghost.
I would recommend this book and will be looking for any Ms. Miller might add to make this a series... there are singles available and a couple or two in this magical small town that may like to have their stories told.
Thank-you to The Wild Rose Press and NetGalley for providing me with a digital ARC in exchange for my honest review.
A cute ghost romance with some magical myths and two matchmaking ghosts.
A sweet easy read.
I love the book and how she gets a b and b in a letter like inherited it from her deceased grandma and has to go to garland falls where she has to spread her grandmothers ashes. She doesn’t know why there because her boyfriend who she’s not really into tells her to research the place to make sure it doesn’t have weird people where she’s alone and doesn’t know anybody. I loved the paranormal elements to this book and the magic with the huntsmen reminded me of Snow White.
Perfect book 100 percent opinion are my own. Thank you for the arc.
