Truth be told, I started reading this in November 2021, it's now June & I've only just finished reading it. That's my fault though, I get a little impatient with slow burns. In November I got around 30% the way through then stopped until just the other day where I decided, hey? I'll give that another chance. And I'm SO glad I did. It took me two days to get through the other 70%.
"The Fastest Way to Fall" follows our fmc Britta, who I just LOVED. She is everything you want in a female lead character, and as a curvy girl myself it was really nice to see that representation. Yeah it's a "romance" book so of course there's gonna be a love interest & plotline, but it was great to see that it wasn't the entire focus.
Writing it with both Britta & Wes's voices was such a good addition because we learned to love them as individual characters. About what made them the way they are, before we loved them together.
It was such a cute, feel cute rom-com. Definitely recommend this one.
