Carla flies to Ireland for her best friend’s wedding and Eamon, the groom’s brother, is tasked with picking her up. Carla’s adventurous lifestyle and Eamon’s wish for one, bring these two together with so much chemistry and humor. Honestly, these two couldn’t be any more made for one another. It just took Eamon a bit to catch up with Carla. I love their banter their sheer joy in just being with one another. Their little mini adventures on the way to the wedding were superbly entertaining and meeting the family was a hoot!
I loved the depth between Carla and her father. All the stories about the places they traveled during her childhood we so sweet. The one thing I did not like was the ending because I felt it was rushed. I would have preferred them to deal with her dad’s dementia together.
This is the 3rd in a series, but I read it as a stand alone. I will definitely check out the other 2 books in this series.
Thank you to NetGalley and Macmillan Audio for the opportunity to review this sweet audio arc.
