This was a cute one, and very cleverly done. Rom-com with mild "Final Destination" vibes, but with an HEA. :) Nick and Wren both seem to have the universe conspiring against them. But does it want to bring them together or destroy them? Throughout the book we see that Nick and Wren have been moving in orbits around one another most of their lives, even though they've never met. We see that they also have overlapping circles of influence on others' lives in interesting ways, it's a neat premise done well with nice touches of humor. Thankfully it wasn't too hard to follow the creative twists and turns, and it was a fun game to try and spot the impending calamity one person was unknowingly creating for the next person to trip over. Very imaginative, kudos to the author who I imagine had a lot of fun plotting this story out. I didn't find the story to be a difficult or heavy read, although it had some heavy themes and touches. I stayed up way too late to finish it, and I would definitely recommend this enjoyable book.
