I enjoyed this book. While it was the story of bats, it was also a story about people; about the author and about other scientists working with bats. The book shows the interconnectivity of science and how one person’s work builds on another. There was a lot about the author’s journey, which I loved. The writing is highly conversational with a considerable amount of humour. There were great anecdotes that had me chuckling. Overall, I loved this book.
