I enjoyed this book. The story was interesting, with good characters, and the settings were excellent. The writing was clever and well-paced. I had previously thought that cozy and horror was an oxymoron, but I am happy to say that Marshall Moore proved me wrong. For a cozy story, the stakes were significant and the book was hard to put down. Although there was a very strong message in the book, it never got in the way of good storytelling. Overall this book was well worth reading. Thank you to NetGalley and Bantam for the advance reader copy.
