This Vol. 1 in the series simply wasn't my cup of tea. While it explores relationships and emotions in a slow, character-driven manner, I found the pacing unnecessarily stretched. Many scenes felt drawn out without adding much to the overall narrative, making it difficult to stay invested in the story. So many conversations and scenes seemed to go in circles without moving the plot or the characters forward. By the end, I felt like very little had actually happened.

The artwork was another major drawback for me. The character designs are so plain and similar that I frequently struggled to tell people apart. At times, it was genuinely difficult to distinguish between male and female characters, especially those with short hair. This constant confusion made following conversations and emotional moments more frustrating than engaging. When you're constantly trying to figure out who's speaking instead of focusing on the story, it's hard to stay immersed.

I can understand why readers who enjoy understated, slice-of-life dramas might appreciate its quiet storytelling. Unfortunately, between the sluggish pacing and the indistinct artwork, this volume never really clicked with me. I don't regret giving it a try, but I was left wishing for tighter storytelling and more distinctive character designs. Not terrible by any means—just very much not my taste.
