I liked the writing; Dubrow's skill with words is outstanding and I found some of the writing compelling, including the author’s journey. I also found that a lot of the writing had a good conversational tone. But what Dubrow considered frivolous in this book does not overlap well with what I consider frivolous; the book skews heavily towards the classics.
