This one gets 3.5 stars because I see a lot of potential, but this first volume feels incomplete.
Kieran and Mason are natural enemies who find themselves drawn to each other without knowing why. Kieran has serious reasons to hate werewolves. He should want nothing to do with Mason, yet his blood calls to him more than anything he's ever experienced.
It's clear that there is a lot more to what happened to Kieran's mom and to the way these two are pulled to each other. Wallace drops a lot of clues about something larger than just two kids who find themselves attracted to each other despite knowing it's impossible. I just wish some of those paid off a little more in this first volume.
The art is okay. A little generic, but it works with the story.
