This book delivered on everything it promised. It provided broad coverage of genetics, which to me seemed very thorough. The writing is crystal-clear and conversational. The explanations of the science were great, helped along by some excellent illustrations; there was also the occasional witticism. I think this book provides a great introduction to genetics and is a great refresher for people like me who learned about genetics a long time ago. I look forward to reading more “Unlock Ideas” books. Thank you to NetGalley and Arcturus Publishing for the digital review copy.
