I learned a lot from this book. It covers a wide range of public health issues that don’t fall within the range of what I had typically thought public health was about, namely epidemics and outbreaks. I enjoyed the explanations, the conversational tone of the writing, and the story-telling. At times, however, I thought that the discussion was a little too detailed.
