"Great book! The men of the "Greatest Generation" do not talk much about themselves. This book fills in the gaps and exposes a principled gentleman, father, soldier, truly the Bravest Guy."

"Do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of the author's recounting of his father's journey. While bravery is too often only equated with wartime combat, this book is about the author's father whose courage was first tested by horrific war injuries, but then more profoundly by his recovery and his persistence to live his life well.
