The fact that I am now able to recite this book tells you how much my daughter loves it. With its delightful illustrations and old-world charm, this is perfect bedtime reading material and one of the most effective ways I have yet found of persuading my daughter to settle down for the night.

This is a beautifully written, lyrical story filled with charming little woodland creatures-the main character being the loveable Mr. Badger. I love the size of the book and the big colourful illustrations, which makes it great to read to lots of little ones. The cake recipe at the end is a wonderful bonus too. I would recommend to anyone with small children-they;re sure to love it.

Mrs H and I are pretty new in the parenting business and are going through the phase of reading lots and lots of kids' books to 'the boy'.
He should really be reviewing this, not me, but without wanting to put words in his mouth, he absolutely loves this. There is real narrative to the book so you can read it over and over again without losing your marbles and the colours and beautifully vibrant. I'd say he finds something new on each reading, but really all he does is bang his hand down on the page and laugh.
Top notch children's book - more soon, please!
