L. Rowyn is the pen name the author chose because it was too much work to change all of her existing social media to use a different name. She struggles with a lifelong addiction to writing. So far, writing is winning.

She lives in the midwestern U.S. with her partner of twenty years and her cat, Kali. The cat's vocabulary is limited to an assortment of meows, but Kali manages to be snarky with them anyway.
