Description

A user-friendly handbook for performing the impossible. THE most NEGLECTED area of information in ALL of aviation!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dave Lowe made his first solo at age 16 in 1959, holds the Airline Transport Pilot license, several Certified Flight Instructor ratings, Ground Instructor ratings and a low-altitude waiver for performing aerobatics at Public Airshows. He has been flying for over 50 years with varied experience that includes crop duster delivery, pilot for executive transport, commuter airline, glider towing, sky divers, night airmail and air freight. He has also owned several airplanes. Dave also has extensive experience with electronics and technical systems manufacturing and repair, including work with the US Air Force, Goddard Space Flight Center and as a Technical Representative on four overseas assignments. The advancements described in this book are the result of this dual-background in aviation and electronics by applying electronics troubleshooting logic to aviation procedures, streamlining solutions to orientation problems without magnetic heading information. Now that the safety advancements of this book have been distributed to the public, the author has been NOMINATED for the 2011 COLLIER TROPHY, the highest aviation award in America. Previous winners of the Collier Trophy include Orville Wright, Charles Lindbergh and Chuck Yeager. You get the idea.
