Adira Brennan never felt so foolish. Jensen never intended to mate with her, never intended to use her for anything except a good time until his true mate returned. Now, with her magic in shards thanks to using it to bring harm, Adira is sent to Bull Creek to help the alpha there take a stand against a pack of coyotes, but can she rely on her magic when the time comes?
Sent to Bull Creek by the Paranormal Council, Dimitri Everest kept a close eye on the hodge-podge collection of residents that made up the community, too busy to open his eyes or his heart to the possibilities of romance. Then Adira arrived and the panther within Dimitri did more than just purr.
"I always live learning about new
shifter lives and new towns and this book brings it all too you. You take a
witch that has been emotional hurt by a shifter she has loved and throw her
into some action to try and keep her mind off her broken heart.
This is another one of those emotional rides that you are taken on and you cannot help but fall in love with the book. I do love how the author has remastered this story and added a bunch of new developments. This is bound to be a wonderful series."

"Loved loved loved this book. Once I
started it, well lets just say I stayed up way too late reading and now I need
major coffee. It had me hooked. Bull Creek is a place where shifters and humans
both go to escape something. They go to heal. Adira is sent to Bull Creek after
a very nasty breakup with a shifter, a breakup which caused her magic to be
sporadic at best, to "help" with a coyote problem. Dimitri knows that
the sassy witch is his mate, but she has sworn off men. Do you see the issue
here? I enjoyed how Robbie approaches the topic of prejudice and hatret, and
how in a way he squashes it and builds a world that is very diverse."
