Description

For ages: 6-8

Description:
Lucia Lacorte loves games. But few friends enjoy playing games with her. When she loses, she cries and yells. And when she wins, its even worse: She dances around and rubs it in. You see, Lucia Lacorte is a very poor sport. Can anyone get through to Lucia and show her that being a good sport is the fun in fun and games? Author Christianne Jones uses humor and a helpful rhyme to teach early learners about the importance of good sportsmanship in this entertaining picture book from the Little Boost series.

About the author:
Christianne Jones is an award-winning author of books for younger children. Her picture book Lacey Walker, Nonstop Talker won a 2013 Gelett Burgess Award and was a Midwest Book Award finalist, and Hello, Goodbye, and a Very Little Lie was listed as one of the 100 best children's books by popular parenting site babble.com. Christianne lives in Mankato, Minnesota, with her husband and three daughters.

About the illustrator:

I'm a freelance illustrator based in Madrid, Spain. I lived in Barcelona for almost a couple of years where I graduated in a MA Illustration at Eina School in Barcelona in 2009. After a few years working as an Art Director in several advertising agencies, I decided to quit and try as a full time illustrator. So far, I've worked with many international clients from United States, Australia, UK, France or Singapore. I've been published by Penguin Ramdon House, Simon & Schuster, SM, Nosy Crow, Sterling or Little Tiger Press.

In my spare time, I'm a Asthanga yogi, a classic cinema lover and go also crazy for music and lemon pies.
