This was a very thoughtful and touching romance novel by a new author. The characters were interesting, with hidden facets to them that presented themselves as the story progressed. It is the first in a series of books and I look forward to the next book to follow some characters already introduced and perhaps even meet some new ones. Thank you Kimberley O'Malley!

Emotional Second Chance with great Chemistry! May 20, 2018 Format: Kindle Edition First let me say, I loved the character development so much I went right back to KU and borrowed the next book in the series. Elizabeth suffered loss, and she ran...she ran away from the people that were still dealing with the loss of her husband. She moves to CA, but comes back to care for an ailing relative. Sam has always loved Elizabeth, and her being back gives him one more shot at finding his HEA with her. They have a lot to overcome...history and miscommunication seem to get in the way here and there in the book. And be prepared..the author writes a lot about the feelings of the characters...you will never guess what they are thinking! Their chemistry is great, and I loved the support they both had from strong friends and family.

Emotional but superbly written! April 19, 2018 Format: Kindle Edition There are some books that you read and they just pull at your heartstrings. This is one of them. I have read a lot of books and this one really pulled me in right from the beginning. The characters are so full of life they just seem real. I was engrossed in their story and felt personally invested in their relationship. A wonderful sign of a great author. I will definitely be reading more in this series and from this author.
